Historians have talked about the continuity and discontinuity of German social history of the period before and after 1945. For instance, J. Kocka pointed out that the traditional elements in society, which were influencial in German past and led her to National Socialism, were abolished after 1945. Another historians, who considered the role of the modern factors in German history more important, affirmed the continuity of the development between the age of National Socialism and the post-war period. But the historians, whose views were different in understanding of 1945 in German social history, agree about the continuity of economic order before and after 1945. Didn't the German economic structure of the pre-war period change in post-war Germany? Did the economic system after 1945 remain the same as in the pre-war period? The paper argues the economic reforms in post-war West Germany from 1945 to 1958, focusing on reforms of removing the economic factors of National Socialism in the period of occupation and after in order to establish a new order : the land reform to exclude the influence of the landlords, elimination of excessive economic concentration and cartels, and the dissolution of "Autarchy" system to create the new international economic relations.
