In this research, the ultimate bearing capacity in the ground where some foundation structures are installed is studied by using the limit equilibrium computation. The plane strain in foundation structures, such as friction piles, footing and piled raft foundations is analyzed by introducing some linear constraint conditions over the velocity field of soil. This method makes it possible to calculate axial force and bending moment along a foundation structure. It reflects the affects to the difference both in positions and in the number of the friction piles. As a result, it was found that ultimate bearing capacity in the ground where a piled raft foundation is installed is larger than that of footing or friction piles foundation. In addition, it was found that the axial force and bending moment of piles outside of the piled raft foundation at failure are bigger than those of inside.
