Today we face a number of international problems and issues related to economy, most of which can be categorized into at least one of the following seven fields; trade, investment, foreign exchange, finance, environment, development assistance, and natural resource. In developing countries, domestic issues of poverty reduction and economic growth are connected to them. This paper discusses whether specific themes apply to each of these nine fields or not. For instance, whether a government plays a major role or not, and an international organization comprehensively deals with the issue or not are examined. It is also identified that environment, natural resource, and poverty reduction are the three major fields that need urgent actions. Based on these analyses, it is concluded that a regional approach to addressing interrelated issues is ideal, in addition to the ongoing global discussion and negotiation of each issue.
