There are difficulties in fabricating uniform carbon nanotube (CNT)-polymer composite films because CNTs tend to aggregate rather than to disperse in polymers, which prevents homogeneous coating with a network formation. Furthermore, the amount of nanotubes required for electrode formation should be as small as possible for sufficient transparency. In this work, we suggest a pattern of dual-layered film composed of CNT and conducting polymer fabricated by self-assembled monolayer (SAM) technology using soft lithography. By these technologies, we obtained a good alignment of CNTs over patterned conducting polymer with selective adsorption, which could be used for transparent electrodes of flexible electronics applications such as organic thin film transistors.
