In this paper, I give the overview of international trends of Human Rights Law concerning employment of persons with disabilities. I consider that The UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities(2006) developed the international standard of human rights. The Convention has three important concepts, (1) Prohibition against all discrimination on the basis of disability, (2) Reasonable accommodation, (3) Affirmative action. I point out these concepts will affect in Japanese employment law of persons with disabilities.
