The purpose of this report was reveal the influence of the interior information supplied by Mass-media. In this paper, first of all, analyses were made on the young People's consciousness to the interior in "Trendy-Drama". (1) The interest in the interior was very high. But it wasn't made the best use in real life. (2) Nearly 80% o the subjects had the yearning room in Drama. Chinami's room in "DO-KYU-SEI", Asako's room is "DAKISHIMETAI !" and Rika's room is "TOKYO LOVE STORY" were specially referred. The main reasons of the yearning were rhe whole image, the stylish, the openness of the room, the plan of the residence and the way of life. They were also influenced by the image of life style of the TV characters. (3) The yearning rooms' atmospheres were valued free, comfortable, open, individual, at ease and neat by SD method. As the result of factor analysis, three dimensions such as "activity", "evaluation" and "calmness" were extracted. (4) Few persons referred to the interior in Drama, but the parts which attracted their attentions such as the furniture arrangement and the total image were referred. On the other hand, the reasons why they didn't refer to them were that the interior was far aprt from the actuality, and that it was the only yearning and doesn't suit their own room.
