The numerical analysis of complex three dimensional shocked flows in turbomachinery blade row has been carried out. On the basis of Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations, the third-order nonoscillatory scheme is employed to assure the valid prediction of turbulence characteristics. The lower-upper symmetric Gauss-Seidel algorithm is adopted to avoid the complex matrix manipulation of common implicit algorithms. so as to the computational work marching one step is generally the same as that of explicit methods. The detailed comparisons between calculation and measurement indicate good agreement.
