Integrated coal gasification combined cycle is considered to be the best power generation system burning coal on the points of the thermal efficiency and environmental effects. A 150MW, 1300℃ class gas turbine combustor firing coal gasified fuel was designed, and an atmospheric pressure combustion test was conducted by using a full scale combustor and simulated coal gasified fuel. The design concerns of flame stability, combustion efficiency, pattern factor, pressure drop and liner temperature were satisfactory, and an excellent NO_x conversion rate of 30% was obtained.
