概要

• The need of the electrical utility industry for versatile gas turbines led European designers to develop specially for central stations large heavy-duty machines with off-board combustion. Considerable efforts are being devoted to further increasing the permissible hot-gas inlet temperature as the main means of increasing efficiency. European original-equipment manu-facturers have successfully introduced dry NO_x control of the combustion in their gas turbines which has already yielded drastic reductions in pollutant emissions in the case of retrofitted machines.
