In recent years, turbocharged engines with smaller displacements have been highlighted as power sources for automobiles. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. has developed the Mini-Turbochargers, which can be applicable to these engines. As the results of various technological efforts, the requirement for small size, lightweight and low cost has been achieved in the turbochargers, with excellent performance and reriability. The Mini-Turbochargers, have successfully been used and installed on approximately 400,000 units of passenger cars and motorcycles with good reputation.
