The CGT engine was sucessfully operated at TIT of 1350℃, which verified the realization of the engine structure. As for engine performance, maximum thermal efficiency of 35.6% and maximum output power of 92.3KW were obtained at the condition of TIT 1350℃. Exhaust emission (particularly NO_x) was proved to be enough below the standard of 10-15 mode regulation of Japan. Engine performance was a little short of target, however, we can say that the objective of this development program, to verify the potential advantage of CGT engine for automotive use, was achieved as a whole.
