The connector of a train protection radio device that is placed on a train is dismantled not only when it is checked at a periodic inspection, but also when a one touch emergency devices (TE Device) is checked at the inspection to avoid triggering the train protection alarm mistakenly. If it is forgotten to couple the connector of the device to the train, or if a pin that should be set in the connector is off accidentally at the inspection, the device might not be able to send an alarm signal in emergency scene. However, the condition of the coupling is checked only with a visual inspection. Therefore, we developed an inspection device that can check the connection by measuring intensity of an electric field generated when a radio wave is sent from the device correctly.
