人體毛細血管の臨床的研究 : 第3報治療發熱の際に於ける毛細血管の變化に就て

The study was made on the change of capillaries with respect to body temperature and blood pressure, before and after schwefelin or gonococcen-vaccine injection by which meant to cause therapeutic fever, on 7 patients. The following results were obtained: At the stage of raising of temperature, the blood pressure increased with raising of temperature and the capillaries contracted or showed a tendency to contract. The blood pressure decreased at the hot stage, especially markedly at the lowering stage of temperature with sweating. The capillaries dilated and elongated. The blood circulation in the capilla-, ries became more rapid. The number of visible capillaries increased. Strengthening in the base color tone was noted, especially remarkedly at the sweating stage. With removal of fever, the blood pressure and the build of capillaries almost returnedto thepre-injection state. From the above results, it seems possible to consider that there is close connection between the changes of capillaries, blood pressure and temperature, in therapeutic fever.
