The purpose of this study is to consider developmental changes of the contents of future time perspective from the viewpoint of "hope" and "perspective." "Hope" was assumed as the side of the self vague future like a wish and dream. "Perspective" was assumed as the side of the consciousness to the self future near the realistic prospect 'it is probably like this'. Both the fifth graders in an elementary school and eleventh grade students conducted question paper investigation to a total of 1729 students. As a result, it was shown from the differences in the contents side that "hope" and a "perspective" are the sides in which quality is different, and it was shown that it is what changes in development. Moreover, every grade of "hope" and a "perspective" being in agreement within an individual is 40%, and it was shown that 60% of child differs in him about oneself of "hope" and as a "perspective." Furthermore, it was shown that the past image, the present image, and the future image are related strongly mutually.
