The purpose of this study was to analyze childcare anxiety of mother. The subjects in this study were two hundreds twenty mothers with eighteen month-old children. The questionnaire used in this paper was that created by Makino Katsuko in her study, "On the lives and anxiety over childcare of mothers with babies" and Kato Haruko,"On research regarding childcare attitudes-a comparison of primipara and multipara-". The results of the data were analyzed by four factors: the sense of fullness, the sense of a burden, the sense of growth and development and the sense of request for information. Additionally, related factors included the sense of fullness, whether the mother was a ousewife or working outside the home, the mother's academic background and the degree of family planning. The request for information regarded whether the mother was a housewife or working outside the home and her social activities.
