Folic acid sensitive fragile sites were studied on 11 couples of parents and 11 cases of their babies. The most common fragile site was 3p14. On the frequencies of fragile sites, it was significantly higher in the parent-group than in the baby-group. Heritable folic acid sensitive fragile site was detected in one site at 12q13 in the father-group. But, the same fragile site was not detected in his baby.
