The term "Shakaikyoiku-Syokuin (staffs concerned with Social Education Service)" has been generally used very arbitrarily and ambiguously since WW II. But the existence of such staffs has been considered essential to support Adult Education. Each substance of various arguments about the relationship between staffs concerned with Social Education Service and those who support Adult Education is able to be grouped into three types : firstly former is considered to be the core of latter, secondly former takes a particular and important role among latter, thirdly it is not clear whether former is included in latter, or former is included in latter but the role of former is not clear. Ordering and reviewing those arguments is not only the study about the former staffs but also the basic study about the latter people. The framework to reexamine various arguments qualitatively must be constructed. And those studies must be the fundamental study to reexamine the principle of supporting Adult Education.
