The Argentine population is more than 39 millions inhabitants, but no car has been originally designed for its own market. The purpose of this research is to find out an original design suitable for the Argentine market and its basic characteristics. A user profile research was carried out in Argentina by a web survey to find the design priority concepts and users' needs. The research data defined the Environment, Human Factor and Product that were considered the most significant by Argentineans. The priority design concepts found were used for many packaging items. Also, the best selling car, Volkswagen Gol, was identified and used as a reference and starting point for a new packaging proposal to improve features that people needed in a car. Hatchback sedan car was the most chosen car type.
