Effect of spreading sequences on Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) for Multicarrier Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (MC DS-CDMA) system employing both Time and Frequency domain (TF) spreading has been investigated. Considering the multiuser case in the downlink channel, PAPR property is studied for both orthogonal and non-orthogonal set of spreading sequences. A selection of spreading sequences are proposed that give optimum PAPR and BER.
