The present study aimed to investigate the difficulty and it's background that new graduate nurses experience at three months, and necessary support that they need. In this paper I would like to examine an educational substance and method of basic and continuing education. The participants were six new graduate nurses who graduated from the bachelor course of nursing. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and analyzed by content analysis. The results showed that newly graduate nurses' experience varieties of difficulties. The core category that emerged from data was "Inexperienced nurse". New graduate nurses explained themselves like this. There were three grounds that they explained: "Coming up against new problems"; "Nursing practice in doubtful situations"; "Unable to grasp whole things". The backgrounds of "Nursing practice in doubtful situations" were "Unable to ask same questions", "Unable to connect knowledge with observation", "Were not able to master nursing skills just bachelor curriculum". "Unable to grasp whole things" was influenced "Not able to identify precede data", "Confuse unexpected situations". But new graduate nurses not only experienced difficulties but also tried to overcome by learning from relationship with senior nurses. Senior nurses' acknowledgement was very important to cultivate nursing competence in new graduate nurses. This study suggests that it's important to build support system by continuing education. Also, reconsidering educational content and way of nursing skills at bachelor's curriculum are necessary. It is also important to cooperate with basic and continuing education and to find new educational ways and systems.
