With the development of a high-performance Fe-Nd-B magnet, products making use of magnets are rapidly becoming widespread. Among these products are those for which relative displacement fluctuates severely in a non-contact state, and whose electromagnetic forces change every second. When products such as these are developed without clarifying the magnet's movement conditions and the behavior of the magnetic flux, we cannot make use of that technology in development design. In our study, we clearly defined these properties by measuring the change in movements and the phase lag of two opposing, same-pole magnets with a laser displacement gage, and also by comparison with the finite element method.
