The authors measured the vapour pressure (dissociation pressure) of calcium oxalate monohydrate in the temperature range from 110℃ to 210℃, and calculated the thermodynamical data of the dissociation; CaC_2O_4・H_2O ⇔ CaC_2O_4 + H_2O (1) The measurement was performed by the static method, and it was ascertained that the method would be used sufficiently even at higher temperature above 100℃ by the preliminary experiments. (2) Particular attention being paid to the establishment of the equilibria of this system, the vapour pressure of calcium oxalate monohydrate was measured in the range from 110℃ to 210℃, by preventing the condensation of water vapour. The empirical formula was calculated from the measured values. The obtained formula is log p = 9.9325 - 3,508.3/T, where p is the vapour pressure in mmHg, T is the absolute temperature ^oK. (3) Using the measured values, the standard free energy change ⊿G^o, the heat of dissociation ⊿H^o and the entropy change ⊿S^o of the dissociation at 423^oK were calculated as follows; ⊿G^o_(423) = 2,418.3 (cal/mol) ⊿H^o_(423) = 15,229.8 (cal/mol) ⊿S^o_(423) = 30.27 (cal/mol・deg.)
