• 1. The division of epochs in historical description must be connected with it's own purpose. 2. Theatrical history is neither the history of drama, nor that of the theater, but must describe the whole trinity of theatrical phenomena. 3. The art generally concerns with "artistic will","inartistic will" and the world, which can be understood by "life-rythm of epoch." Theatrical history describes the theatrical phenomena by this rythm. 4. "Dramatic predominance in Reformation age"(1400-1618) is the testcase of our standpoint.
