The dependence of MR properties on sensing current for CPP (Current Perpendicular to the Plane)-GMR sensor with a CoFe/Cu multilayer was investigated. MR ratio monotonically decreased with increasing sensing current. And split peaks of MR ratio were observed in an MR curve, when sensing current was so high as to decrease MR ratio drastically. We calculated MR curves with a coherent rotation model on the assumption of a circular current induced field, and confirmed that calculated MR curves showed good agreement with experimental ones qualitatively.
