The frost damage of concrete structure is affected by complex and multiple combination of many deteriorating factors. Especially, complex deterioration with multiple deteriorating mechanisms of scaling damages of concrete structures by de-icing chamicals is not perfectly understood in today. This study examines the effect of concrete surface on the scaling damages of concrete exposed to de-icing chemicals by the dilution water in viewpoint of the complex deterioration with multiple deteriorating mechanisms. This water has diluted in the concrete of the surface layer, and it is regarded as inhibiting the work of depression of freezing point, and it is connected with the scaling damages of complex deterioration with multiple deteriorating mechanisms. And neural network is effective in order to decompose the relationship between the complicated factors. By analyzing factor sensitivity on the neural network which learned the result of the experiment, a grasp is quantitatively possible for inference in respect of the nonlinear phenomenon.
