It is difficult to completely clarify the degree of frost damage. Because frost damage is affected by complex combination of many factors. In the meantime, the spreading amount of deicing chemical has been increasing in recent years. As a deicing chemical with little harmful effect to the environment. CMA (a mixture of calcium acetate and magnesiun acetate) is noticed. Especially, CMA is effective in the prevention of the metallic corrosion. This study examines soaked characteristics to the mortars and scaling phenomena by the freezing and thawing action. And features of CMA are summarized. For the mortars which CMA soaked, this research regards which the dilution mechanism increases the scaling. It is important to grasp accumulation and dilution period of the deicing chemical, when the deteriorate prediction is done. This study examines a feature of damage and this study evaluate the effect of combining possible factors by using the quantification analysis.
