Amorphous alloys of Fe_<80>P_<17>C_3 and Fe_<80>P_<13>C_7 are examined by Mossbauer spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and electrical resistivity measurement. Their Mossbauer spectra are ferromagnetic broad six line patterns, which are analyzed with the assumptions of a high degree of short range order of b. c. c. type, the binomial distribution of near neighbor configurations, and the variation of internal field proportional to the number of foreign near neighbors. The computer fitting between the calculation and experiment is always good, and no special spectral component with zero or near zero internal field is needed. By annealing up to 700℃, the magnetic changes, crystallization and decomposition processes are studied and interpreted in terms of the changes of the internal structures.
