In this paper, I researched into the inscription on Liang A-guang's tombstone. Liang A-guang's tombstone was collected from Pengyang country in 2000 and is kept in the Guyuan Museum at present. It is 36cm high, 20cm long and 5cm wide. There is a plinth in the tombstone, which is decorated with a lotus flower relief. From the inscription that was written on the back of the tombstone, it is conceivable that this tombstone was made in Liang Prefecture. Such a tombstone form was excavated even in Sili Prefecture, besides those excavated in Liang Prefecture during the Wu-Hu period. According to the inscription on the tombstone, Liang A-guang was a tribal chief and was given the titles of "Lingmin-Qiuda" and "Gongmenjiang" by the Former Qin Kingdom. Also, he was succeeding the peerage of the Xingjin-Wang. He died on March 10 and was buried on July 22 in the 16th year of the Jianyuan reign (380 A. D.). His name is not recorded in the compiled histories such as Jinshu and Weishu.
