Spaceborne L band SAR is very useful to conduct disaster monitoring due to observation capability under all weather, day and night conditions and due to observation of land deformation and others. However, 1215-1300MHz (85MHz) band is allocated on primary basis with footnote which means almost secondary allocation. In order to enhance status and conduct satifactory operation of L band SAR, sharing studies between L band SAR and other services are needed. In this paper, some results of preliminary sharing studies between 5 types of L band SARs and 4 types of radiolocation systems are presented which is the first extensive analysis in the world.
