Exact solutions to classical string equations and catenaries around a (2+1)-dimensional static black hole are obtained without any special anzats. Here, the radial coordinate between the center of a black hole and one of the end points is assumed to be fixed. The shapes of catenaries are depicted, which are formed by the angle between one of the end points and the point of the catenaries nearest to the black hole. The catenary length and the coordinate difference between the catenary and the center of the black hole are also obtained.
