In a former paper, I threw light on social capital and social network of Shunsuke Tsurumi. After writing up the paper, one question remained. There are some persons to whom he has not refered in any of his works, although their social networks crossed over his. Why has he not? In this paper, forcusing on one person, I try to explain the reason why he has not refered to this person, whose name is Michiko Inukai. Inukai has grown up in 'Shirakaba-ha' culture and its social network. Her father, Takeru Inukai, was a 'Shirakaba-ha' novelist. Tsurumi also has been influenced by 'Shirakaba-ha' culture, especially by Soetsu Yanagi's writings and his social activities. But Tsurumi did not say that he was an inheritor of 'Shirakaba-ha'. As almost of people knows, Inukai was born in political-cultural dominant class. Her grand father was prime minister Tsuyosi Inukai. She was the same class member as Tsurumi. And she has the same 'superior complex', which I would like to name 'intellectual masochism', as Tsurumi has. Although he managed this 'complex' by 'decadence of shame', she did in a different way, which I call 'decency of shame'. The reason why Tsurumi has not refered to Inukai comes from two problems. The first is relevant to the way how they have inherited 'Shirakaba-ha' culture. The second is to the differnt way how they managed the same 'superior complex'.
