Kitaro Nishida (1870-1945) is the most important philosopher in modern Japanese philosophy. His philosphy is based on eastern Japanese-Chinese thinking and mixed with elements of Western thought. Underlying all this a profound religious element. Because of its uniqueness it is kown as "NIshida Philosophy". Moreover, his famous text is "Study of Good (1911)". Nishida's study-room "Kossei-kutsu" from the time he was a professor at Kyoto University has been moved to Unoke in 1974 (originally built in 1922). In this paper, I chiefly describe the details about his study-room.
