Searching for causes of "Poor Near Vision", we investigated the life environments of schoolchildren, and analyzed comparing the life environments of children with eyesight of over 1.0, between 0.9 and 0.7, between 0.6 and 0.3, and under 0.3. As a result, we found that "hours for studying" of children with "normal eyesight" are more than that of children with "poor eyesight" on both weekdays and holidays. We could found differences also in "hours for reading" and "hours for playing outside" on weekdays. This means that "hours for studying", "hours for reading", and "hours for playing outside" affect children's "near vision". In this investigation we found no statistical differences between "hours for watching TV" and "hours for TV games". These results suggest that "hours for studying", "hours for reading", and "hours for playing outside" relate to children's "near vision".
