In Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET) nodes mobility has a great impact in the network performance. Since nodes can be ported by people they will move according to the people movement patterns, and in particular they will also move in groups. In this work we propose an statistical approach to model the nodes relative movement within a group. The proposed method uses the position of each node in the group, and can be implement on real time. Finally the method is tested in a real trajectory data.
