In this paper, we address a shared virtual environment system with hapties on the Internet. Haptics device has been used for an input and output interface of the system. One of the problems for the system is network impairment, which includes delay, jitter, packet loss, bandwidth limitation, etc. But there are few studies on adaptation control of the hapties media against such problem. Then, we propose a new hapties collaboration system which adapts to network environment, and evaluate the system based on a subjective assessment to clarify the QoS parameter which is required for the hapties media transmission.
