Our goal is develop a system which accounts for English 'negative concord' varying from dialect to dialect which constitutes a challenge to the principle of compositionality. We assume that Quantifier Raising uniformly applies to all kinds of quantified arguments at LF, and in favor of Ladusaw (1991) that INFL negation projects up to the very top of IP prior to other interpretive procedures. In addition to these assumptions we propose that a condition such as (37) be available to speakers of dialects which allow for nothing but an unambiguous reading with respect to negative concord.
