Superconductive Anomaly in Specific Heats of Layer Structure Compounds

To study the properties of the two-dimensional superconductor, the specific heats of layer structure compounds NbB_2 and NbS_2 have been measured from 0.6°K to 2.8°K and from 1.7°K to 6.4°K, respectively. The specific heat jump of these compounds at the transition temperature is much smaller than usual.
