Young's moduli of nickel single crystals were measured by the method of magnetostrictive vibration. Those for the principal crystal directions are E_<[100]>=1.198, E_<[110]>=2.008, and E_<[111]>=2.592×10^<12> dynes/cm^2. The three elastic coefficients determined by combining the measured data of the cubic compressibility for polystalline nickel are S_<11>=0.835, S_<12>=-0.328, and S_<44>=0.978×10^<-12> cm^2/dyne.
