• By the aid of line geometry based on the Study's coordinate of a straight line and also by the aid of the vectorial coordinates of a generating plane or a generating rigid surface, were obtained fundamental mathematical expressions denoting the condition for the meshing of skew bevel gears. Making use of these expressions we can treat the affairs concerning the meshing of skew bevel gears. By way of example two theorems were derived from these fundamental mathematical expressions.
