Pattern Grammar Theory invented by C.T.Onions in England is still very useful for English learners around the world. We can learn English so easily and can get to the top of the MOUNTAIN of English by using this tool - Pattern Grammar Theory. Because this theory surely shows us the way to the structures of English sentences which we use in daily life. It is well known that Japanese people including College Students are so weak at English in comparison with the people in Asian countries as statistics show us. No one can deny this clear fact. In spite of long-term of English learning in Japan most college students are not good at English, NICHT SO! They are good at English only at classrooms in school. Actually however they are Not good at English in daily life and also in real society. This is one of the big problems to be conquered. In this paper I would like to analyze this problem from the point of Pattern Grammar Theory. It will be concluded that this problem is to be solved only by Pattern Grammar Theory. According to my opinion there are three kinds of Theories at present here in Japan. I would like to prove that STRICT Theory which I originally create in this paper is superior to other two theories- Revised theory and Enlarged Revised theory.
