1. No experiments have yet been made which allow one to evaluate the probability of a production of the perfect de-leaf-nodulated plants, in this connection, the author attempted to make them by the inhibition of the gr/owth of the bacteria using various antibiotics, especially penicillin (Pe), streptomycin (St), chloromycetin (Ch), aureomycin (Au), terramycin (Te) and these mixtures (Mix) in various concentrations to the seeds and growing points of Ardisia crispa and A. punctata in Myrsinaceae. 2. To the ungerminated seeds, the high concentration of antibiotics inhibited their germination in some degree in the both species but they are effective to diminishes the leaf nodule number on a leaf of A. crispa, espeecially, St was the most available and a perfect normal de-leaf-nodulated plant in growth was obtained by it, but in the other hand, to A. punctata they were uneffective. 3. To the just germinated seeds of A. crispa. 100Q-250γ solutions of antibiotics were effective in the 3 days treatment and more seriously affected than to the ungerminated seeds, through these treatments the number of nodules on a leaf decreased, then in this method St were the most effective. 4. By the growing point treatment, there existed no definite relation to the concentrations of antibiotics on the leaf nodule number, especially, in A. crispa the average number of leaf nodules on a leaf did not diminish and 2 de-leaf-nodulated plants were made by St and Te, but these were also abnormal in their growth and the color formation was inhibited. In the other hand, in A. aunctata made no perfect de-leaf-nodulated plants, but 9 de-leaf-nodulated leave swere made by Au, Ch and Te yet never by St, and these were abnormal in the state of the partial lacking of the leaf margin. 5. The de-leaf-nodulated plants in A. crispa were made 12 in total throughout the experiments but St was the most effective and Te nexed to this, especially one of them by St was normal in its growth, and the others were more or lass abnormal in their growth by the eff
