高演色性を有した白色LEDに関する研究

Conventional white LED is made of a blue LED and yellow phosphor. Therefore, it dosen't have a good color rendering property. The problem has to be solved for the practical use of white LED illumination. In this study, we simulated the spectrum distribution of a white LED and fabricated it by using ultraviolet LED and Red/Green/Blue phosphors. The new white light spectrum was closer to the solar spectrum than conventional white LED and the new white light had a good color rendering property.
