We are attempting to estimate the imputed rental value for an owner-occupied house in the housing market. We think the value of a house should be based on a combination of the physical attributes of the house and its location. If we assume that the former part of the value for an owner-occupied house would be equal to that for a rental house, the latter part of the value for the houses would be equal at the same place. In this paper we would like to examine our proposition in the housing market.
