• The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of development in living room design in future housing, called smart home in general. Recently, intelligent housing was built by major construction companies in Korea. However, the design direction of living room space in intelligent housing is not clear and environmentally-unfriendly problems. Learning from these problems and focusing on the trend that home appliances will be integrated with space, it is important that the direction of development in living room design should be studied through various researches. In this research, the direction of development for future living room design will be suggested.
