This study purposes the application of LOHAS (Life-style of health and sustainability) and smart technology concept to exterior space of apartment housing building type, which is uncommonly existed in Korea. The definition of the problems of current exterior space of apartment housing will be explored and a series of design approaches in urban design, urban planning, and landscape architecture will be also explored to suggest the new vision of exterior space in near future.
