Detection of Moving Objects Using Images of Internet Cameras(Engineering)

In this paper, we propose a new detection method of a moving object using the images obtained from internet cameras. The method is based on the local blur processing and the depth one with respect to images. By using the blur processing to facilitate detection of the optical flow, we confirmed that the detection accuracy of a moving object was improved. In addition, we proposed a new method for converting the size of the flow vector in proportion to the depth. The results obtained reasonably represented the shape of the moving objects.
