• Lichenological works for Korean lichens from 1909 to 2000 are summarized. As there is no lichen herbarium established in Korea after the Korean War, almost all specimens so far reported from Korea have been stored in foreign herbaria such as BM, DUKE, H, PC, S, TNS and UPS. Lichen flora of Korea is briefly summarized.
