The Kamakura Shogunate did hot take economical profit from the barrier stations, but the Shogunate had the power which controlled the barrier stations. I think the Shogunate did so because of duty and pride as the samurai's administration. I divide the Kamakura period into three terms, and examine the contents of the Kamakura Shogunate's barrier stations control. In this paper, I focus mainly on the Kamakura Shogunate from the viewpoint of the barrier stations control in the Kamakura period.
