This paper is an analysis of accent marks added to "nigoji", two transliterated Kanji letters describing one Sanskrit letter, our research being carried out on the basis of Sanskrit letters and their transliterated Kanji letters written on the back of "Daihannyakyouongi" preserved at Raigouuin Temple in Kyoto. The results show that the accent marks are added, irrespective of each Sanskrit letter, and that they have little to do with the original accents of those Kanji letters. Each letter of "nigoji" has a tendency to have the same accent mark added, while some "nigoji" have "nissyou" points derived from the Kanji letters, which implies that the original manuscript was repeatedly replicated.
