弥谷寺所蔵「胎蔵念誦次第」の入声点について

This paper describes an analysis of the usage of "nissyou" points (accent marks) used in "Taizounenjushidai" a Buddhist scripture owned by Iyadaniji Temple (Mino Town, Kagawa Prefecture). This phonetic notation is originally an expression of accent marks attached to Chinese characters that are pronounced as [-t], [-k], or [-p] at the end of each syllable. In the above-mentioned scripture is found a usage of attaching a different accent mark, instead of "nissyou" points, to two Chinese characters corresponding to a Sanskrit letter. This is considered to express an accent found in the original Sanskrit letter by attaching two accent marks to two Chinese characters.
